North Coast Books represents the culmination of our founders’ work in the design and publication landscape - a creative journey that began in 2005.
Our story started with a simple, profound love for the book as a physical, beautiful, and timeless object. We are constantly drawn back to the elegance of classic books through their thoughtful textures, traditional craftsmanship, and the deliberate care, patience and complex subtleties within their design. By marrying this classic, tactile beauty with clean innovation, we create books that do not just carry stories, but safely anchor a global community of readers to the natural beauty, rich culture, and creative spirit of Cornwall.
For us, community and sustainability are inseparable from this creativity. Because our Cornish surroundings inspire everything we do, we believe in actively protecting them. That is why every publication we print utilises 100% FSC-certified papers, and we are firmly committed to keeping our environmental footprint local.
