Manuscript Submission Guidelines

1. File Formats
We accept the following file formats for evaluation and production:
- Manuscript Text: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) and .pdf.
- Cover Artwork: High-resolution .jpeg, .png.
2. Formatting Requirements
Before uploading your manuscript text, please ensure it meets these technical standards:
- Font: Use standard, easily readable fonts (e.g., Times New Roman, Arial, Georgia, or Garamond) at 10pt, 11pt or 12pt size.
- Structure: Organize your manuscript into a single file containing all front matter (title page, dedication, table of contents), main body chapters, and back matter (acknowledgements, author bio).
3. Submission Terms & Legal Disclaimer
By submitting your manuscript to North Coast Books, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- Copyright Ownership: You explicitly retain 100% of the copyright, intellectual property, and ownership rights to your manuscript. We do not claim any ownership over your work.
- Originality & Rights: You warrant that the manuscript is your own original creation, that you hold all necessary rights to publish it, and that it does not infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
- Content Restrictions: We do not publish material that promotes hate speech, severe violence, unlawful activity, or clear defamation. We reserve the right to reject any manuscript that violates our safety and community standards.
